"The festival was fantastic exactly what a festival should be: good performers, good atmosphere and great beer and wine. Really brilliant family environment and perfect for introducing youngsters into the festival scene. The music was great: Dodgy and The Beat were enjoyable but the highlight had to be Chris Helme - Saturday’s performance was brilliant and Sunday was a real good feel factor and got everyone connecting together, only one problem with the performance was that it didn’t last long enough. Andy Stones and Dave Keegan’s set was a great ending and had everyone singing and dancing. All was everything a festival should be. Please do it all again next year with a bit more sunshine please! Well done to the festival team."

This is our first Galtres Festival and our first festival since having kids (7 and 12) who are still buzzing from their experience, and can't wait for the release of the zombie blockbuster, and for the next Galtres. You have managed to get the balance of 'family fun' and festival entertainment just about perfect, creating an amazing agro-free vibe. The music line up was brilliant with something for everyone and the Arts Barge guys were tireless in their supply of entertainment!

We had a bloody great weekend and my friends and relatives all say thank so much for such a fun weekend. I thought the Sunday night music was best - Dodgy and The Beat were very good - great entertainers.
I loved working on the bar that was great fun.
Organisation wise I though it went well as a spectator and a volunteer. Food was great, loads of variety - the Scampi Man was great fun and was chatting to all his clients - curries great and Grant said the pies were delicious. The boys who camped loved the impromptu jamming session on Sat night in the circus tent."
