Alister's Theory was formed in 2011 at St. Aidans High School as a 5 Piece and since then the band has developed to become a Slick new sound on the Harrogate Music Scene.

The band pride themselves on being a unique blend of Soul, Funk and Jazz and the now 8 piece outfit consisting of : Ali Flint (Kit) , Alexia Millson (Vocals) , Charlie Boulton (Guitar) , Elliot Tutt (Bass) , Ruby Blunt (Keys) , Dan Hartley (Trumpet) , Peter Clark (Trumpet) and James Thomas (Sax) found themselves growing in stature after taking victory at the 2014 Amp Awards Finals. This led to gigs in prestigious venues such as The Harrogate Blues Bar and an appearance at the famous Ont' Sofa.

The Band look forward to the rest of 2014 with much anticipation and with the festival season approaching the band look to establish themselves throughout Yorkshire but most of all the band look forward to their appearance at Galtres.
