The Mighty and the Moon blasted into existence in 2012.

Mixing everything from country, blues, soul and indie rock into one sound, each song stands on its own with each persons influences ranging from Tom Waits, Smashing Pumpkins, Neil Young to Fleet Foxes and even Scott Walker shining through at points to create a new, powerful and emotional sound.

The band has already gained an impressive local image and reputation as a professional, hard working and creative outfit. They have played many gigs to great responses and have appeared on local BBC radio frequently.
