Andy Humphrey is an experienced spoken word performer. His prize winning poems can be heard regularly in York at The Speakers' Corner open mic night which he has MCed since 2007. Telling the Fairytale, his collaboration with York-based storyteller Helen M Sant, enchanted audiences at the 2013 York Literature Festival. He has also been a guest performer at Beverley Folk Festival, Harrogate Festival Fringe and the York Festival of Storytelling, and appears regularly at open mics throughout the region.
