A lonely young boy makes friends with a fledgeling bird, and his eyes are opened to the natural world around him. As the bird and the boy grow and bond together, he comes to realise what dwellers in an urban landscape can learn from their feathered friends. 

Featuring storytelling, puppetry and live music, this will be a feast for all the senses – an unusual and heartwarming modern fable. On an outdoor stage with the sky as its limit, we will tell a story to appeal to adults and children alike – to anyone who has ever wanted to soar above the crowd and to the dizziest heights of their imagination!

This show is created by playwrights Nikki Williams and Ben Ellis, director Amelia Bird, designer Lydia Denno, and Annie Brooks of puppetry company Colossal Crumbs.
