Green Stewards started out in 2003 as a favour to friend, helping out at his festival. Now approaching its tenth year in business it has grown to be one of the largest stewarding companies in the festival arena. Green Stewards focus only on the provision of stewards and not security, choosing instead to focus on expertly delivering one crucial aspect of festival staff provision.

"We realised early on there is a real difference in the relationship between the public and security personnel and the relationship between the public and well trained effective stewards. Security personnel provide a vital role at any event, but that role often does not prioritise customer care. A steward with Green Stewards is trained and briefed to ensure that the experience of the attendees is of paramount importance. At Green Stewards we ensure that all our staff are friendly, approachable, well briefed and willing to go the extra step in helping the public.

The first year we only did two festivals, The Big Green Gathering and The Lost Vagueness Summer Party. The following year we were asked to take on The Sunrise Celebration and a couple of other one day events. Now we have a full calendar of events from June through to November and now provide indoor venue stewarding over the winter months.
