Never has a Facebook group page been so euphoric. The days and weeks after Galtres 2012 saw a profusion of undiluted praise for our festival, as people shared their experiences of a fabulous weekend. For those of you not following that group here are some extracts. And visit us on Facebook to post your own thoughts and photos:
Alex L: This was my second year at your wonderful festival and may I say it was even BETTER than last year. ... We have vowed that we will be attending your festival every year FOREVER. The atmosphere, the community spirit, the ale, the music, all the wonderful people involved makes this festival very special.
Lots of love, and celebration to you organisers, thankyou so much for a wonderful weekend!!

Mark S: I have attended many Festivals. I have never seen so many smiling faces. The atmosphere and the ambience of the whole weekend was amazing. The Organisers have the balance between both families and 'musos' alike spot on. No mean feat. You got the feeling if you fell in the mud there'd be 20 people running to pick you up!. It had that type of feel for me.I loved it :)
Heather F: Galtres was striding forth at its absolute best this year and deserves every bit of praise that comes in IMO. Well done James!!! :) xxx
Rich H: From our perspective, Galtres is one of the gems of the year.
Great sounding stages, very well organised. Plenty to do for all the family.... AND JOUSTING! Yessssssss.

Rebecca H: our first visit to Galtres and I wanted to say we thought it was great. Despite a few down pours, we found it friendly, intimate, diverse, well organised, quality food and drink, great music, a huge variety of cabaret, great things for kids, lots of seating, fab stages and tents, happy punters, great volunteers and helpful security. We loved it, our kids loved it and our friends loved it. Compared to beacons festival the previous week it was truly wonderful. WELL DONE Y'ALL.Some of our highlights?
Jousting, chilli Bon Bon karaoke, Billy Bragg, dub barn, gypsy jazz, shrek story telling, Ryan Spendlove, Guinness cake, arts barge sofas, fringe mystery plays, dhal curry... It was top!
