Festival Information

We've organised some special buses to transport you to and from the Festival, connecting Crayke with York and the villages in between. You can only buy tickets for these buses on this website in the shop. You won't be able to buy a ticket on the bus or at the Festival.

These buses start at York Rail Station, pick up at Exhibition Square, and then head up the A19 stopping at Clifton, Skelton, and Shipton. Then right at Tollerton crossroads, stopping at Burn Hall, then Huby, Sutton on the Forest. and Stillington, before heading up the the festival site at Crayke. And the same on the way back. Details of bus stop locations and times are printed on the back of your ticket, and a detailed timetable is now downloadable from this link. Buses depart Festival Gate 1.

The fare is a flat rate of £3.50 each way - advance tickets only.

Please note that public service buses are also running between York & Crayke, and York & Easingwold. There are service buses leaving York for Crayke every hour.

There will also be a shuttle bus linking with Easingwold market place. It's free from Easingwold to the Festival. Vouchers will be on sale for this service at the Festival to get you home - fare 1 voucher (£1.75).
